Taliban flags raised, Pakistani military song played

Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) – Hindu religious sentiments were hurt during the Eid procession taken out on 5.9.2025 in the city. The slogan ‘Islam Zindabad’ was written on a saffron flag, and Taliban flags were also seen being waved. Videos of the incident have surfaced. Hindu organisations have expressed strong objections. The Police have registered a case against three unidentified individuals.

- The name of the Kalyanganj locality was written as ‘Kallanaliganj’
- Firecrackers were burst near Ganesh Mandals
- Pakistani military song was played during the procession
- A saffron flag installed at Jalebi Chowk was removed and thrown away
