Papeya Nasrin, an assistant professor at Daulatpur College in Khulna district, has threatened Hindus through a Facebook post. She said, “If Hindus celebrate Shri Durga Puja in the country, a massacre and rapes like the 1946 ‘Noakhali Massacre’ will happen again.” Papeya also threatened to drive Hindus out to India. Bangladeshi journalist Salahuddin Shoaib Choudhury published this news on X. “This act is clearly a criminal offense, yet Bangladesh’s interim Government advisor Mohammad Yunus and his illegal regime have taken no action against this female professor. International media and human rights groups must raise their voices against this,” Choudhury demanded.
