In Karnataka, voting will be through ballot paper and not through voting machines (EVM)

Mind boggling decision by Karnataka Congress showing distrust in Election Commission

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Congress government announces local body elections will be held through ballot paper and not through EVM, as Congress claims that EVMs can be rigged. Though the election commission has proved that such claims are baseless. The commission has said that rigging EVMs is not only difficult, but also impossible. Despite this, the Karnataka State Cabinet decided to hold the coming Panchayat and Nagari Sthanik Swarajya Sanstha  elections through ballot paper and declared that they will recommend this system to the election commission.

Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, H. K. Patil told the media that public is losing faith in EVMs. (Not the EVM, public has lost faith in deceitful Congress which is ruining society. – Editor). We have decided to take necessary legal measures and amend the existing rules to make it easier for the State Election Commission to make amendments in the list of voters.

Editorial Perspectives

  • In the era of AI, in 2025, it is ridiculous that Karnataka Congress wants to hold elections through ballot paper
  • Showing distrust in Indian democratic institutions by a state government is an attempt to downgrade democracy. Please note that it is a part of anti-national conspiracy.
