In Kashmir – 93% graves are of Pakistanis or terrorists

  • A report exposing false propaganda carried on for years against the Indian Army

  • ‘Save Youth, Save Future Foundation’s Report

  • False propaganda about innocent Kashmiri Muslims was exposed

New Delhi – In the last three decades, there has been disinformation spread about the Indian army. Under this conspiracy, western voluntary organisations, separatist groups and Pakistan’s media constantly published only one story that in Kashmir, the graves without any markings are proofs of collective oppression of Muslims by the Indian armed forces and a narrative was created that Indian army was mass killing Kashmiri people; however, an organisation called ‘Save Youth, Save Future Foundation’ has proved all such accusations to be false. The organisation has worked at the sites for years and conducted surveys of 373 graveyards at Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora and Gunderbal districts. The report has a record of 4056 graves, identifying 93% of them and thus proving that the accusation of mass graves of innocent people was totally false. Most of these graves are of the Pakistani terrorists who were killed in anti-terrorist activities of the Indian armed forces.

The report has been published under the heading “Unravelling the  Truth: A Critical Study of Unmarked and Unidentified Graves in Kashmir Valley (2025)”. A study has been conducted to expose the truth behind unmarked and unidentified graves.

Important data given in the Report

1. There are 2493 graves of foreign terrorists, and most of them are infiltrators sent across by Pakistan, Afghanistan and the LOC.

2. There are 1208 graves of the local terrorists, i.e. of Kashmiri youth who joined terrorist activities.

3. Pakistani Muslims who attacked India in 1947 are buried in 70 graves.

4. There are 276 graves which could not be identified.

Explanation given in the Report

1. It has been clarified in the report that the burial of unidentified dead bodies was a practical compulsion, and it was not a conspiracy of the Government. The locals or masjid committees immediately buried the bodies of terrorists who were seized or killed without any identity cards on them.

2. It was stated by the Jammu-Kashmir Human Rights Commission in an inquiry conducted in 2011 that many graves were of foreigners, but its claim was ignored.

3. The report has also explained that mass graves have been discovered in Balochistan, and in this region, many incidents of people going missing are reported, but the search is withheld every time. India, however, conducts an inquiry into happenings in its land, marking the difference between India and Pakistan.

4. Kashmir’s graves were compared with the genocides in Bosnia or Rwanda, which were the most dangerous. It has been clearly stated in this report that genocides in Iran, Bosnia or Rwanda were government-sponsored, whereas that never happened in Kashmir.

5. There is a deduction as per the report that the graves in Kashmir provide no proof of any planned oppression against someone but they are the facts of the ongoing complicated conflict.
