7 family members killed in the landslide in Reasi (Jammu)

Jammu (Jammu – Kashmir) – Continuous heavy rains lashing Badder village of Mahore taluka in Reasi District. This resulted in landslide which caused a house to be demolished. At that time 7 out the many members of the family who were inside the house were killed. The officials reported that in the early hours of 30^th August this house, which was on a slope near the site of the landslide, collapsed, and the 7 residents of the house were crushed under the debris. All the dead bodies have been removed from the rubble.

During severe downpour or a cloudburst vacate the sensitive buildings – Administration

The administration has warned the residents residing in the dangerous area where there is a possibility of landslides. They have appealed to the citizens residing in these sensitive buildings to vacate them during cloudbursts and heavy rains
