New Delhi – The first target, of the urban Naxals and those with similar ideology of wanting to create social instability, is Hindu religious places and faith. Chamundi Hill and Dussehra festival are also on this list, said B.L. Santosh, National Organisation General Secretary, BJP, in a post on Instagram. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar made an outrageous statement that Devi Chamundeshwari was not the property of the Hindus’.

His statement has created a big controversy. Mr Santosh’s post is against this backdrop. Hindu-hating Muslim writer Banu Mushtaq is the invitee for the inaugural function of the Dussehra festival. Hence, the Hindus in Karnataka are angry. Many BJP leaders are objecting to this.
