Lucknow (UP) – In Bareilly, the activities regarding Hindus’ conversion by Abdul Majeed and his gang have been exposed. Abdul Majeed is the head of the madarasa. The Police have arrested him and three of his associates in this connection. The Police have revealed a lot of facts about the gang. This gang used to entice Hindu youths by money and marriage to a beautiful Muslim woman. Initially they would give financial help to the needy. Later, they would convert such Hindus to Islam followed by their entire family compelled to convert. In UP, a few days ago, Chhangur Baba gang’s involvement in conversion was exposed.

How do they trick Hindus ? 

It has come to light how Brijpal, a teacher in Subhash Nagar was tricked. In the year 2014 he met with an accident and his financial condition went down. At that time Salman and Arif helped him financially and converted him and his family.

There were pictures of beautiful young girls on the mobiles of this gang, which were used to entice Hindu youths. Majeed was finding various ways to trick Hindus into conversion. Hindus who were converting had to go through ‘sunta’. He would target disabled and scheduled caste Hindus. He had contacts in more than 27 districts in the country. Rs 13 lakh were found in his bank account, and he also has 21 different accounts.

This gang had created several WhatsApp groups. These groups would watch videos of Zakir Naik, a source of inspiration to terrorists and audios of Pakistani religious scholars. Salman would provide religious books and Arif helped, Fahim would gather the information about people and pass it to the gang. The Police suspect this gang of receiving foreign funds. Currently search for the remaining members of the gang is ongoing.
