Caught after failing to answer basic questions about Maharashtra!

New Delhi – An Afghan infiltrator was arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport for attempting to travel on a fake Indian passport. The infiltrator has been identified as Mohammad Rasool Najib Khan, who had mentioned an address in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra on his passport. He was traveling to Kabul.

1. While officials were questioning passengers at the airport, Khan’s manner of speaking drew their attention, as there was no trace of a Marathi accent in his speech.

2. The authorities asked him basic questions such as:

“What is the capital of Maharashtra?”

“Name a famous beach in Mumbai.”

“In which state is Ganesh Chaturthi celebrated with great grandeur?”
However, he could not answer any of these questions.

3. Upon thorough interrogation, it was revealed that he was an Afghan national. He was then arrested, and an investigation is underway to determine how he obtained the fake passport.

Editorial Perspective
