Cadbury includes Marathi translation of English words on the wrappers of ‘Dairy Milk’ Chocolate

The commendable attempt by the Cadbury Establishment of promoting Marathi language


Mumbai – On the new wrapper of ‘Dairy Milk’ a brand of Cadbury Chocolate has English words and their Marathi translation printed on it. The ‘Bruhan Maharashtra Marathi Mandal’ has responded to this by saying that the ‘Mandal Thanks the Company for this gesture’. Raj Thackeray, Chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had said ‘if you stay firm on your language, the world will definitely take a note of you’. Cadbury’s new wrapper has reminded and brought his this sentence into the social dialogue.
