MLA Raja Bhaiya criticizes caste discrimination in Uttar Pradesh Assembly

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – The biggest threat facing India today is jihadi terrorism. Around 80,000 security personnel must be deployed for the safety of devotees undertaking the Amarnath Yatra. Is this pilgrimage possible without security? When terrorists attack, do they ask about the caste when they target Hindus? We saw in Pahalgam how terrorists asked people to recite the Kalma (Islamic declaration of faith), stripped them to check if they were Hindus, and then killed them. They did not ask caste there, in these words, Raghuraj Pratap Singh, alias Raja Bhaiya, MLA from Jansatta Dal Party criticized caste discrimination among Hindus while speaking in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Raja Bhaiya was speaking during the monsoon session of the Assembly, during a 24-hour-long discussion on the topic, ‘Uttar Pradesh Government’s vision 2047.’
Key Points raised by MLA Raja Bhaiya
Democracy in India exists because of Hindus

Whenever something is divided- be it a home, wealth, or business-it becomes weaker. India is the world’s most populous democracy, and much of the credit for this goes to Hindu community.
No country has Changed its Constitutional Preamble
There are amendments in the Constitutions as per changing times and circumstances, but no country changes its Preamble. However, in India, during the Emergency period when democracy was suspended, the Preamble – originally drafted by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and other scholars – was altered.
Remove Government Control over more than 4 lakhs Hindu Temples!
India is home to followers of all major religions. However, the government does not take money from the places of worship of any other religion. Does the government take money from mosques or churches? No. But more than 4 lakhs Hindu temples are under government control, and the offerings in these temples go to government coffers. The government control over temples should be removed.
Violence for the sake of Religion is Justified!

After independence, we were taught “Ahimsa Paramo Dharma” (Non-violence is the highest duty), which is correct. But we must not forget the second line: “Dharma Himsa Tathaiva Cha” (Violence for the protection of righteousness is also the highest duty).
At the Maha Kumbh Festival, Hindus did not call for expelling followers of other religions
The Maha Kumbh Festival held at Prayagraj was discussed widely across the country and abroad. The number of my visits to Prayagraj were more than the Chief Minister’s. The arrangements over there were amazing. More than 6 crore Sanatanis bathed in the Ganga. But no slogans calling for the expulsion of other religions or their followers were heard. Secularism in this country is possible because of Hindu-majority.
• Macaulay destroyed the Gurukul system!
In the year 2047, the most important task is to awaken the people, and for that, the education system is crucial. Macaulay’s education system created a sense of inferiority in us and led to the end of the Gurukul system.
• British rule impoverished India
When the British came to India, our share of the world’s Gross National Income was over 30%; however, by the time they left, it had dropped to just 1 to 1.5%. India was impoverished. 1 lakh British soldiers ruled over 60 crore people because we remained silent and passive.
