Another case of ‘Love Jihad’ comes to light in Kerala

Kochi (Kerala) – Kochi’s Kothamangalam Police have arrested a Muslim youth, named Rameez of Peravur, pressurizing a 23-year-old Hindu girl who was a student at a teachers’ training course College. Rameez has been accused of forcing her to commit suicide owing to the torture by her lover who was compelling her to convert.

1. The Dead girl’s mother said her daughter was seduced and entrapped by Rameez. He was pressurizing her to convert. He had also locked her in a room and thrashed her; because of her opposition to his attempt to take her to Ponani for her conversion to Islam over there.

2. In the girl’s note found by the Police says that Rameez had traumatised her both physically and emotionally. She accused him of locking her in a room and pressurizing her to convert.

3. The Police have in their investigation have found evidence of Rameez abusing and tormenting her. There is a possibility that his family could be named as co-accused. The Kothamangalam Police will be carrying out further investigation in this matter.

Editorial Perspective

There is no possibility of Kerala’s Communist Government doing anything to stop ‘Love Jihad’ incidents, hence the Union Government should protect the Hindus.
