No one is safe from US economic attack : Iran

Iran supports India against US aggression

Tehran (Iran) – Iran has expressed support for India over US President Donald Trump’s decision to impose a 50 percent import tax on India. Iranian Ambassador Dr. Iraj Elahi said that the US uses the economy as a weapon. It always puts pressure on countries that stand up for their national interests.

Dr. Elahi further said,

1. Trump’s decision is not limited to India alone; no country is safe from this economic attack.

2. Over the past century, the United States has exerted economic pressure on freedom-loving nations, especially those that strive for development, self-reliance, and self-interest.

3. We have been facing US economic sanctions for more than 40 years.

4. Trump is forcing other countries to act according to his wishes. He shows no respect for the rights and interests of other countries.
