Congress MP’s gold chain snatched in the Capital City

This incident took place at 6 am in the highly secure area Chankyapuri

New Delhi – In a shocking broad daylight robbery within Delhi’s high-security diplomatic enclave, (Tamil Nadu) Mayiladuthurai’s Congress MP Sudha Ramkrishnan’s gold chain was snatched. This incident took place on the morning of 4th August at 6 am near the Tamil Nadu Bhavan in Chankyapuri. She is currently in the capital for the Monsoon session of the Parliament. She had gone for a morning walk with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s (DMK) MP Rajitha. A person on a two-wheeler approached them and snatched the gold chain she was wearing. The Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. There are numerous embassies and State Governments official residences near the place where the incident occurred.

She has letter written to the Home Minister to complain

Sudha has written a complaint letter to the Police, Leader of the House and the Home Ministry. In the letter written to the Home Minister Amit Shah, she has written that she has lost her gold chain weighing more than 4 Tolas. She has been injured and her clothes are torn as well. It is extremely shocking that a Lady MP is attacked in this manner in Chankyapuri a high security area.
