The Manager of the DRDO’s guest house at Jaisalmer has been arrested for spying for Pakistan

Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) – Manager of a Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) guest house was detained in Jaisalmer district on suspicion of spying for Pakistan, police said Tuesday. Mahendra Prasad, a resident of Uttarakhand’s Almora, was posted as the manager of DRDO guest house in Chandan area of Jaisalmer. He has been posted for the past 7 years at the guest house at the Pokhran Field firing range. The guest staying in this guest house are senior most defence officers and security specialists.

Mahendra Prasad used to give secret information to Pakistani handlers through the mobile phone. A watch was kept on him by tracking the contacts and calls to his mobile phone from Pakistan.
