Burhanpur (MP) – Shaikh Raees a resident of Nepanagar, Dist Burhanpur was pressurising a Hindu young girl Bhagyashree Dhanuk to convert to Islam and marry him. When she refused, he slit her throat and killed her. This sparked Hindu outrage and Hindu organisations demanded capital punishment for Shaikh while protesting this incident. Police have arrested Shaikh Raees.

Bhagyashree’s sister said, “the accused had been constantly troubling her sister and pressurising her to marry him. Earlier also he had threatened her. Shaikh Raees runs a dairy in Matapur bazaar. He is a divorcee and an alimony case against him  is ongoing.

Editorial Perspectives

• In India not Muslims but Hindus and Hindu girls are unsafe, this fact will never be supported by Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra, Mamata Banerjee, Dimple Yadav etc. because they want only Muslim votes.

• In an Islamic country if a Hindu had committed this kind of crime even by mistake, he would have got killed on the spot. Not only that, but other Hindus would also have been attacked, their temples targeted.
