Sanskrut must become a language of everyday conversation : Param Pujya Dr Mohanji Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak

Param Pujya Dr Mohanji Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak

Nagpur, Maharashtra – Sanskrut is the root of all Indian languages. It should not only be understood but also spoken. Sanskrut must reach every household and become a medium of communication, urged Param Pujya Dr Mohanji Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He was speaking at the inauguration of the new building of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University.

Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak further said:

1.At present, there is a growing spirit of self-reliance across the country. But to truly achieve that, we must enhance our intellectual capacity and knowledge. Language is not just a collection of words — it is a medium to express emotion, and our true identity is deeply linked to it.

2.Sanskrut is not merely a language; it is the carrier of Indian culture and consciousness. A person who understands Sanskrit can grasp the essence of Bharat at a much deeper level.

Editorial Perspective

The Congress had once dismissed Sanskrut as a ‘dead’ language, but today, it is absolutely essential to revive it by introducing Sanskrut in every school across India. The Union Government must make Sanskrut, along with the mother tongue, compulsory under the three-language policy.
