Cannabis consumption by drug addicts in Dronagiri temple premises – Uran

Uran – A shocking incident of cannabis consumption by drug addicts has come to light in the premises of the Dronagiri temple in Uran. These individuals were found using cannabis near the assembly hall at the rear side of the temple and around the water tank. The Dronagiri Temple Committee and the Karanja Gaon Residents’ Association have taken this matter very seriously. They have issued a stern warning stating that; if anyone is found smoking or consuming cannabis within the temple premises, strict Police action will be taken against them without any leniency. Everyone must take the initiative to maintain the sanctity and discipline of the temple premises or else they will face tit-for-tat retaliation. Locals also remarked that, ‘The temple is a sacred place of faith for devotees. It must not be turned into a den of perversion by drug addicts. All citizens must take note of this.
