Thailand : Woman extorts ₹102 crore after having physical relations with 9 Buddhist monks

Bangkok (Thailand) – A shocking case has come to light in Thailand where a woman, known as ‘Miss Golf’, reportedly had physical relations with at least 9 Buddhist monks and later extorted a staggering ₹102 crore (approximately USD 12 million) from them. She allegedly recorded photos and videos of these encounters without the monks’ knowledge and used the material to blackmail them.

Thai Police revealed the following details:

A raid on Miss Golf’s residence led to the discovery of over 80,000 photos and videos stored on her mobile phones, all used to blackmail the monks. The scandal first surfaced in mid-June 2024. It is reported that her relationships with the monks began in May 2024. She even claimed that one of the monks fathered her child.

Following the exposure of the case, the police launched a special hotline to allow the public to report complaints against immoral behaviour by monks. In response, Thailand’s Supreme Council of Buddhism — the official regulatory body for Buddhist institutions — has announced the formation of a special committee to review the conduct and rules applicable to senior monks.

Editorial Perspective

Why do so-called ‘secular’ filmmakers, who repeatedly target Hindu saints and portray them with contempt in their movies, never dare to depict the gross misconduct of Maulvis, Christian priests, or Buddhist monks ? Why is this selective outrage not exposed by the so-called liberal media ? This glaring hypocrisy clearly reveals their anti-Hindu agenda.
