Indian soldier arrested for spying for Pakistan

Supplied sensitive military secrets to Pakistan’s ISI

Uri (Jammu & Kashmir) – A shocking case of betrayal has emerged from the Indian Armed Forces. Devinder Singh, a soldier posted in Jammu & Kashmir, has been arrested from Uri on charges of espionage for Pakistan. He is accused of passing on classified military information to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Devinder Singh hails from Nihalgadh village in Sangrur district of Punjab. His arrest follows the interrogation of Gurpreet Singh, a former soldier previously caught in the same case. Gurpreet’s statements led security agencies to Devinder, who was subsequently arrested.
