’Dragon’ Capsule lands in sea near California

California (USA) – Indian astronaut group captain Shubhanshu Shukla had a safe landing with his other colleagues at 03.00 p.m. (IST). Their ‘Dragon’ capsule landed at the sea coast. Shubhanshu and his team had left for space on 25.06.2025 from Kennedy Space Centre, Florida through the ‘Falcon 9’ rocket. He was at the international space station for 18 days where he carried out various experiments. The other 3 astronauts accompanying him were from the USA, Poland and Hungary respectively. On 14.07.2025, they started from the international space station at 4.45 p.m.

To be kept under observance for 10 days

All 4 astronauts will be kept under observation for ten days for checking up on their health conditions. The effect of living in space on their bodies will be reversed and they will be brought back to normal in this period. After this, he is likely to be back to India.
