2 people arrested for spying for Pakistan in the name of a non-governmental organisation

Kolkata (Bengal) – In East Burdwan, Bengal, the Special Task Force (STF) arrested 2 people associated with Pakistan’s notorious intelligence agency ‘Inter-Services Intelligence’ (ISI). Their names are Rakesh Kumar Gupta and Mukesh Rajak. Rakesh Kumar Gupta is originally from Bhavanipur in Kolkata. Mukesh Rajak is from Panagarh area of ​​Bengal. Both of them run a non-governmental organisation. They were living in a rented house in Memari in Burdwan District.

Both the accused were in direct contact with people associated with ISI in Pakistan. On their instructions, they were sending confidential information and helping in carrying out terrorist activities. They were also collecting information related to sensitive areas of the country to be given to the ISI under the name of the organisation.
