New Delhi – India is developing a more powerful bunker buster bomb than the US. This bomb will destroy enemy bunkers under a thick layer of concrete. This bunker buster bomb will be equipped with a warhead mounted on the Agni-5 missile. The US had attacked Iran’s nuclear facilities with this bomb.
India’s Bunker Buster Bomb is capable of destroying enemy hideouts 80 to 100 meters underground. A Bunker Buster Bomb can destroy bunkers built 60 to 70 meters underground. India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is developing a new version of the Agni-5 intercontinental ballistic missile. This Agni-5 missile will have the capacity to carry a Bunker Buster warhead weighing 7,500 kg.
