Is it possible to describe in words the qualities of the Supreme Being, who is the very embodiment of Sat-Chit-Ananda (Absolute Truth-Divine Knowledge-Bliss) Parabrahman (Supreme God) form ? Or can these qualities be portrayed through photos ? The answer is ‘No’ ! Such Divine qualities can only be experienced. And yet, devotees continuously sing praises of Parabrahman; meaning, they attempt to describe His qualities. Here is one such attempt to offer a glimpse into these Divine qualities.
Beyond all words, beyond all thought,
Beyond the trigunas*, finely wrought,
How shall I praise You, O’ form Divine,
With words that mortal tongue confines ?
Where silence deepens, speech must cease,
Where pens grow still in sacred peace,
How can I sing what eyes can’t see,
The Unmanifested Mystery ?
Let images reveal what words cannot say,
The Divine virtues in their own silent way.
They’ll reveal the touch of the Divine within,
A glimpse of virtues shining from deep therein.

. Experiments on subtle knowledge : Some seekers study their ability to understand the subtle dimension through experiments on what they perceive about an object, which is beyond the comprehension of the mind and intellect. These are called ‘Experiments on subtle knowledge’ . Individual spiritual experiences of seekers published in Sanatan Prabhat are according to the Principle – ‘Where there is bhav (Spiritual emotion), there is God’. It is not that every individual will have similar experiences. |
