India Responds to Iran-Israel Ceasefire

New Delhi – Reacting to the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, India has reiterated that dialogue and diplomacy are the only viable means to resolve the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.

In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said, “India continues to closely monitor the developments related to the Iran-Israel conflict. We remain concerned about the long-term implications of this situation on regional peace and stability.”

The statement further added, “We welcome reports of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel and commend the role played by the United States and Qatar in facilitating the truce.”
