New Delhi – Guidance by Puri Peeth Srimad Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati, “India must progress; however, it should be in the interest of mankind. Being Indian should be the supreme goal. Remember, livelihood should satisfy the needs in life, life should not become livelihood. Do not be constricted by belly and family, contribute towards the development of the nation, Dharma and spirituality. His 83rd Jayanti Mahotsav was celebrated here recently. He spoke at an event during the celebration.

Rashtrotkarsh Din (day to celebrate the advancement of the nation) was organised in the holy presence of Shankaracharya. Chief Minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP MP Sambit Patra, former MP Dr. Subrahmanyam Swami, well-known kathakar (spiritual narrator) Devakinandan Thakur were present at this time.

Shankaracharya added, it is not fair to be dependent upon the government for the development of society. If Sanatan Dharma survives, humanity will benefit, world will be peaceful, Bharat will become world leader again, we will have to create awareness regarding establishment of a system according to equitable Sanatan Dharma.
