There has been a 24% decrease in the number of Indians on the tour to Turkiye in May

The result of the Indians’ call for boycott of Turkiye after it provided military assistance to Pakistan

New Delhi – Due to Turkey’s military assistance to Pakistan during ‘Operation Sindoor’, Indians led a social media movement to boycott Turkey. As a result, the number of Indians visiting Turkey on a tour decreased by 24 % in May.

Indians love to visit places like Istanbul, Cappadocia and Antalya in Turkey every year; however, after the Indians declared a boycott, ‘Indian travel agencies’ and ‘tour operators’ started reducing their trips to Turkey.
