Yoga Day celebrated with enthusiasm in 191 countries of the world

Vishakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) – On June 21, the 11th ‘International Yoga Day’ was celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the world, including India. According to the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, more than 2,000 yoga programs were organized in 1,300 locations in 191 countries.

Prime Minister Modi celebrated Yoga Day in Visakhapatnam along with 3 lakh citizens and ambassadors from 40 countries. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also performed yoga asanas along with the Prime Minister. The theme of this year’s Yoga Day was ‘One Earth, One Yoga for Health’.

While guiding the audience after the yoga asanas, Prime Minister Modi said that today, when unrest and instability are increasing in the world, yoga means connection and it is heartening to see how yoga has connected the entire world.
