Police deny permission for Palestine support march to be held in Mumbai

Success to the organised efforts of devout Hindus

Mumbai – Leftist organisations had organised a Gaza-Palestine Support march at Azad Maidan on 18th June. The Hindu Rashtra Samanya Samiti had demanded that the Palestine Support march be banned immediately to avoid a repeat of the Azad Maidan riots of 2012, as per a statement from the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the Home Minister, the Director General of Police, and Mumbai’s Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Satyanarayan Chaudhary. They had also assured to take appropriate action on this. Accordingly, the Mumbai Police denied permission for the march, and the Police also took Firoz Mithiborwala, Meraj Siddiqui, Shailendra Kamble, Tabrez and many others into custody and issued notices to them.

The committee stated that the agitation could potentially create religious rifts. The committee had also demanded that permission be denied for this march, which supports terrorism and is anti-India. The devout Hindus thanked the Police for fulfilling the demand in the statement.

Editorial Perspective

Strict action should also be taken against traitors who live in India, eat food here, and sing about Palestine.
