No dangerous object was found on the plane

Nagpur, Maharashtra – An IndiGo flight from Kochi to Delhi received a tip-off about a bomb being planted in the aircraft. The aircraft then had an emergency landing at the Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport. The aircraft was checked by Nagpur Police and fire brigade. The incident led to chaos at the airport. No dangerous objects were found in the plane after inspection. The flight had departed from Kochi at 9.20 am and was scheduled to land in Delhi at 12 noon.
Editorial PerspectiveThere have been persistent threats of a bomb being planted on the plane or elsewhere. Therefore, if anyone is arrested in any such case, the government should make efforts to get the death penalty for the accused ! |
