Cunning Muslims took control of both countries through Partition !
- The 1945–1946 elections in India were contested on the central issue of whether the country would be partitioned or remain a united nation. Out of the 492 seats reserved for Muslims, the Muslim League secured 425, establishing its overwhelming influence.
- In Uttar Pradesh, the League won 54 out of the 66 seats reserved for Muslims. In the Bombay Province, it claimed all 30 of the 30 reserved seats. In Bihar, it won 34 out of 40, and in Punjab, 73 out of 86.
- The League’s dominance continued in other regions as well. It won 13 out of 14 reserved seats in Madhya Pradesh, 113 out of 119 in Bengal, and all 29 out of 29 in Madras Province.
- This sweeping victory underlined the League’s claim to be the sole representative of Indian Muslims. – Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain
