Illegal transportation of goats in Mumbai locals for the Bakri Eid celebration

Mumbai –A video is being shown on the social media on the occasion of Bakri Eid. In it can be seen 2 Muslims uploading goats in the luggage compartment of the local train at the Kurla Railway station. This local’s destination is Kalyan. Goats being openly brought to the railway station and illegally transport. The passengers expressed their annoyance and anger. The railway official said that transporting goats in this manner by the local train was illegal. (What is the use of just informing ? When will the people committing this offence be arrested and punished ? Will this too be needed to be told to them ? – Editor)

• This shows that as no one has any objections on how to celebrate Muslim feasts and holy days like they comment about the Hindus celebrations of holy days. They are doing what they want arrogantly breaking rules and decorum of civic travel and behaviour.

• Today we found only 2 Muslims taking in the local train, the goats they had got for the sacrifice. It should not be surprising if we saw a large number of Muslims transporting the goats in this manner in the future.
