Broadcast of films like ‘His Story of Itihaas’ being blocked without an official ban

Neeraj Atri’s post exposing the anti-Hindu nature of the film industry

Devout Hindu and writer Neeraj Atri

New Delhi – A Hindi film titled ‘His Story of Itihaas’ has recently been released, which portrays how Indian history is being distorted through school textbooks. It is based on the life of a devout Hindu and writer Neeraj Atri. The film is being indirectly opposed as it exposes the face of the established anti-Hindu system. Reportedly, it is not being allowed to get cinema halls. In response, Atri has written a post on ‘X’ exposing the anti-Hindu nature of the film industry. He wrote, “How movies like ‘His Story of Itihaas’ are silenced without a ban by a mafia ecosystem.”

Atri further wrote,

Ever wondered how powerful stories are quietly pushed out of theatres ?

Here is how it works :

  • Give the movie a handful of shows on opening Friday – in far-off locations and odd timings like early morning or mid-afternoon, when most people can’t attend.
  • By Saturday and Sunday – when audiences are actually free – the shows are removed due to “low turnout on friday”
  • Try to fight back on Monday ? You’ll get a few more shows – again at times and places that don’t work for regular viewers.

  • And before Friday comes around again…the film vanishes from the listings.
  • The producer, who puts in his hard-earned money (not D-company money) loses his source of livelihood.

It’s a polished system. No official bans. No censorship labels. Just strategic silencing. A well-oiled machine to kill films that speak against a carefully crafted false narrative.
