Pakistani spy linked to ‘Operation Sindoor’ espionage arrested in Punjab

Authorities have seized his mobile phone, which is believed to have been used to transmit the classified details.

  • Military intel leak: Gagandeep is accused of sharing strategic details about the Indian Army’s deployment locations during Operation Sindoor with Pakistani authorities.
  • Terrorist links: Investigations have revealed that Gagandeep Singh had been in contact with Khalistani terrorist Gopal Singh Chawla for the past 5 years. It was through Chawla that he reportedly established links with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
  • Evidence recovered: Forensic examination of Gagandeep’s phone revealed sensitive information sent to Pakistan, along with contact details of at least 20 individuals believed to be connected to the ISI.
