Another YouTuber arrested from Punjab for spying for Pakistan

Rupnagar (Punjab) – The Special action force of Punjab has arrested a YouTuber named Jasbir Singh, who was in touch with Jyoti Malhotra, arrested earlier in a espionage case. Further, he had visited Pakistan three times and had links with the police and other officials in Pakistan. He has a YouTube channel called ‘Jaan Mahal’ and has 1.1 million subscribers. So far, the Punjab Police has arrested seven people on charges of spying for Pakistan.

1. According to The Punjab Police, Jasbir Singh had close links with Pakistani intelligence officer Shakir Alias Jut Randhawa, who is of Indian origin and is suspected to be working for the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

2. Police say they are working to uncover the full scope of the network between espionage and terrorists and identify all the individuals involved.

3. Jasbir Singh was also in touch with Ehsan-ur-Rahim Alias Danish, a Pakistani national. On Danish’s invitation, Singh had attended the National Day celebrations of Pakistan at the Pakistani Embassy in Delhi.
