
Amritsar (Punjab) – A bomb blast took place here on May 27 at around 9 a.m. The terrorist who had come to plant the bomb got injured when the bomb exploded in his hand. He died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. The police said that the deceased had links with a terrorist organisation. The name and other information of this person have not been revealed yet.
1. Deputy Inspector General of Police Satinder Singh said that the deceased terrorist was a member of a terrorist organisation and had some explosives. Further investigation was underway. They are investigating the target of the blast. They recovered essential material from the deceased, confirming his links with terrorists.
2. Amritsar Rural Senior Superintendent of Police Maninder Pal Singh said, the police reached the spot immediately after the blast. The terrorist had come to collect some items, perhaps a stock of explosives, and the explosion occurred. He suffered injuries on his face, hands and legs.
