‘Operation Sindoor’ represents changing India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement in ‘Mann ki Baat’

New Delhi – Today everyone is filled with patriotism. ‘Operation Sindoor’ was not only a military operation, it shows our determination, patience and changing India, stated the Prime Minister in All-India radio, ‘Mann ki Baat’, Part 122

Prime Minister Narendra Modi added,

1.We saw the entire nation united against terrorism. Everyone wished for the end of terrorism. Our army destroyed terrorist camps across the border.

2.‘Operation Sindoor’ has become a part of many Indians’ lives. People have named their babies born in Katihar (Bihar), Kushinagar (UP), and many other places, after ‘Sindoor’.

3.In an incomparable display of valour, Indian army destroyed bases of terrorists. They used indigenous weapons and technology for the operations.

4.Collective fight against Maoism is going on and now the basic amenities for the citizens are reaching places like Gadchiroli. In Katejhari the villagers beat drums to welcome the very first bus arriving in the village.
