Indian plane in distress denied permission to use Pakistani airspace !

Pakistan’s mentality embarrassed even the enemy

New Delhi – On May 21, the Indigo flight from Delhi to Srinagar experienced emergency situation due to hailstorm. While the Indigo flight was passing through Amritsar, the pilot perceived the danger. The pilot contacted the Air Traffic Control Centre in Lahore and sought permission to enter Pakistani airspace to avoid bad weather, but the Lahore Air Traffic Control Centre categorically refused.

The plane faced severe turbulence. It jerked and scared about 227 passengers on board. The pilot informed the Srinagar Air Traffic Control Centre and made an emergency ‘landing’. After landing, the staff noticed the broken nose cone of the plane.

Several videos from inside the plane have been circulated on social media. All those watching could see, passengers praying for their lives. They could hear the sounds of children crying.

“The aircraft encountered severe updrafts and downdrafts, causing the autopilot to trip and airspeed to fluctuate significantly. Warnings for Maximum Operating Speed/Mach and repeated stall alerts were also triggered,” the DGCA said. The aircraft’s rate of descent at one point reached 8,500 feet per minute.

About 20-30 minutes before landing in Srinagar, passengers were instructed to fasten their seat belts as there were a lot of jolts in the plane. Within two to three minutes of the announcement, the plane jerked so much that everyone thought that it might be their last flight.
