Traders in Pune boycott Turkish apples as Turkiye supports Pakistan !

Traders wishing welfare of the nation take ‘Our country, our nation first’ stand !

Pune – In a time of tension between India and Pakistan, Turkiye has advocated for terror sponsoring Pakistan. Many traders have taken an aggressive stance and ‘banned’ Turkish goods due to Turkey’s support to Pakistan. Businesses have taken the position that our country, our nation comes first. Following the trend of ‘Ban Turkey’, traders have boycotted Turkish apples and preferred Iranian, Washington and New Zealand apples over Turkish apples. The prices of Iranian, Washington and New Zealand apples have increased by Rs 200-300 per box, said Satyajit Zende of ‘Sri Gurudev Dutt Fruit Agency’, an apple trader in the market yard.
