Indian military warns Pakistan using a verse from the Ramcharitmanas
New Delhi – Quoting a verse from the Ramcharitmanas, the Indian Armed Forces issued a strong warning to Pakistan :
Binay namaanatjaladhijad, gayeteeni din beeti; Bole Ram sakop tab, bhaybinuhoyenapreeti
(Meaning : Three days passed, yet the ocean did not heed Shriram’s humble request, so Shriram, in anger, said that without instilling fear, love cannot be created.)
Using this reference, the Indian military emphasized : ‘Now there will be no more requests – only war’. They added, ‘A word to the wise is sufficient. Whatever kind of technology may come, we are ready to respond. We don’t even need to speak — you’ve seen for yourself’. This was stated during a press conference addressed by Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, Vice Admiral A.N. Pramod, and Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti. Late at night, following India’s briefing, Pakistan’s military also held its own press conference. A scheduled discussion between Indian and Pakistani military officials about the ceasefire on 12thMay was postponed, after which the Indian forces briefed the media about Operation Sindoor.
🇮🇳⚔️🇮🇩 Indian armed forces warn Pakistan with a Ramcharitmanas verse: Fear must precede love! 🙏
For too long, India's Gandhian approach led to self-destructive non-violence & immense loss. 🤔
Glad Indians are finally realizing this!#ceasefirevoilation #OperationSindoor… pic.twitter.com/iF7hr2KLoH

1. Lt. Gen. Rajiv Ghai, India’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO), warned Pakistan : ‘The next war will be different. It will not be like the previous one, because technology has advanced significantly’.
2. He further said, ‘God willing, war should not happen, but we are fully prepared for any scenario. We are strong enough to face it. Our fight is against terrorism and terrorists. That’s why on 7th May, we only targeted terrorists. Pakistan has supported the terrorists’.
3. He pointed out that : ‘For many years, both the military and civilians have been under attack. Recently, the tactics of terrorists have changed. In April 2025, tourists in Pahalgam were attacked. In 2024, attacks on pilgrims headed to the Shivkhori Temple were also dangerous. The Pahalgam attack was a sign that Pakistan’s sins had reached their limit’.
Pakistan’s own military is responsible for its damage
Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti said, ‘Pakistan’s own military is responsible for the damage Pakistan has suffered due to India’s action. Pakistan failed to breach our air defence systems. India has a multi-layered air defence system, which includes coordination between the Army, Navy, and Air Force’.
