Former US defense official Michael Rubin demands

New Delhi –“The US had designated ‘Lashkar-e-Taiba’ as terrorist organisation; but we did not designate Pakistan a ‘terror sponsor’. Now it is time to attack the head of the ‘octopus’ instead of its arms. The US should unanimously support India and declare Pakistan a ‘centre of terrorism’,” opined Michael Rubin, a former senior official of the US Defense Ministry, while supporting India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Rubin added,
1. This conflict started after Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir stated that ‘Hindus and Muslims cannot live together in Pakistan’. However, in India, both Hindus and Muslims live together. This is not happening in Pakistan; because Pakistan is systematically expelling its minorities from the country.
2. When Pakistan fails economically or socially, it tries to divert public attention by taking an aggressive stance against India. This is the sign of a failed nation.
3. Pakistan is now in deep trouble and while trying to save itself, Asim Munir should remember that one day we will fall into the pit we dug for others and stop digging a pit for others.
Editorial PerspectiveThe fact is a cunning country like the US, which makes money by exporting arms to Pakistan, would never do so. |
