Readers furious with the pro-Islamist attitude of the newspapers
Mumbai – In Avantika Express train, a Muslim woman thrashed a Hindu woman because she had worn a rudraksh mala. News regarding this incident has been published in Loksatta and Pudhari newspapers on their websites. The name of the victim Hindu woman who is an advocate by profession, has been disclosed, whereas the Muslim woman’s name is not given. Instead, they have used words, ‘a minority community woman assaulted.’ This shows pro-Islamist attitude of these newspapers. ‘Minority community’ words denote support to that community and indicate that the Muslim woman’s action was right. This kind of appeasement of the minority community is complete injustice to the majority Hindus. It is not expected in Hindu majority India.
Such double standards of the fourth pillar of democracy has caused anger among the readers.
