Mumbai – Speaking about the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Pawar said: “There were attacks before—like Pulwama—yet religion wasn’t brought up then. Why now ? What happened is unfortunate and must be dealt with firmly, but we shouldn’t allow religion to become an obstacle.”
This was in response to a direct question: “Does the Pahalgam attack feel like a religious war?” Instead of confronting the issue, Pawar chose deflection over truth.
