New Delhi – Indian cricket team’s head coach and former BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has received a death threat from the terrorist organisation Islamic State Kashmir. Following this threat, Gautam Gambhir contacted the Delhi Police and demanded immediate action. On 22nd April, Gautam Gambhir received two threatening emails.
Gautam Gambhir had condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on 22nd April. Gambhir wrote in his message, ‘Prayers for the families of the deceased. Those responsible for this attack will pay the price. India will attack.’ Apart from Gautam Gambhir, many other cricketers have also condemned the Pahalgam terror attack. These include cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav. Former Indian cricketer Shreevats Goswami has demanded a complete end to sporting ties with Pakistan.
