Islamabad (Pakistan) – “We condemn the terrorist attack in Pahalgam,” says Saifullah Kasuri — Lashkar-e-Taiba’s deputy commander and the mastermind behind the attack — in a newly released video. Attempting to deflect blame, Kasuri claims Indian media is holding him and Pakistan accountable unfairly. “This is tragic. India wants to destroy Pakistan. It is a brutal enemy. It has deployed one million troops in Kashmir, pushing the region to the brink of war. India itself carried out the Pahalgam attack. This is its own conspiracy. Pakistan has no link to it whatsoever,” Kasuri declares in his bizarre rant.

The video is being widely seen as a classic deflection — part of a long-standing pattern where Pakistan, despite decades of cross-border terrorism, continues to deny any accountability.
