Rahul Gandhi should stop defaming India : CM Devendra Fadanvis hits back

Issue of Rahul Gandhi slandering India during his USA visit

Mumbai – Congress MP and opposition leader in Parliament, Rahul Gandhi’s defaming India and Indian democracy during his foreign visits is condemnable. Constant failures of his party in elections seems to have mentally affected him. It, however, creates a doubt about him when he goes abroad and starts slandering India as to whose agenda he is following. Rahul Gandhi should go to people and work. Travelling around the world and defaming India will not result in enhancing his credibility. His votes will increase only when he goes to people and creates trust in people about him. He is, however, busy in slandering India. Those, who lost in Maharashtra; lost in Haryana, lost in Delhi, should stop India’s defamation, hit back Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis. During his tour of Brown University, he talked to the students and made a mention of Maharashtra assembly elections as electoral irregularities.

What did Rahul Gandhi say ?

Rahul Gandhi had said that the percentage of youth voters was more in Maharashtra State assembly elections, is a fact. The Election Commission, however, gave us the statistics of voting till 5.30 p.m. only. From 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. when voting time is over, 65 lakh voters cast their votes which are impossible because one voter takes at least 3 minutes to cast a vote. It means the voters must have been standing in queue till 2.00 a.m. to vote. We had asked the election commission about video-shooting of the voting process which was negated by the commission and even the law was amended; therefore, anyone will think that the election commission compromised. It is clear that there was a serious mix-up in the election process.
