In Bengal, unidentified persons set fire to a worship pandal and Deities Idols

Kolkata (Bengal) – In the early hours of 3^rd of April, unidentified persons set fire to a worship pandal and idols of Deities in Gobardanga town of North 24 Parganas District. The priest here said that the fire was set at around 4 am. As soon as this news spread in the morning, tension arose. Locals blocked the road and protested against the incident. A large number of police personnel have been deployed in the area to bring the situation under control.
