Demand of All India Muslim Jamaat (AIMIM) president Maulana Shahbuddin Razvi Barelvi with Union Home Minister Amit Shah
(Maulana is an Islamic scholar.)
Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) –The atmosphere in the country has been deteriorating since the release of the film ‘Chhaava’. In the film ‘Chhaava’, The Hindu youth are being provoked by depicting the image of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb as anti-Hindu. That is why leaders of Hindu organisations are making hate speeches about Emperor Aurangzeb at various places. This is leading to riots. Alleging that the film was responsible for riots in Nagpur, All India Muslim Jamaat president Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah seeking a ban on the film and demanding legal action against the writer, director and producer of ‘Chhaava’.
A few days ago, Maulana Razvi had criticised cricketer Mohammad Shami for not fasting during Ramadan and for his daughter playing Holi. This same moulavi had poured vitriol, claiming Maha Kumbha Mela land was a Waqf property.
Muslims do not consider Aurangzeb as an idol !
Maulana Rizvi further said that the Muslims of India do not consider Aurangzeb as their idol or leader. We consider him as just a Mughal ruler, nothing more. (If so, why not talk about his cruelty ? Why don’t you criticize it ? – Editor)
