Dombivali (Thane) – A few days ago, an incident of stone pelting took place at a Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Branch (RSS). Following this, a ‘Protest Assembly’ was held, during which Hindus came together against Muslims in response to the incident. During the gathering, a call was made to boycott shops owned by minorities and it was announced that a ‘Mahaarti’ would be performed every month.
The first Mahaarti is set to take place on Gudi Padwa at Appa Datar Chowk, while the second one will be held on the third Saturday of every month at Kaveri Chowk.
Appeals made to the Hindu community during the protest assembly:
1. Boycott shops owned by Muslims financially.
2. When visiting the shop, ask for the shop owner’s name. If they avoid sharing the name, click the shop’s photo and share it in the Whatsapp group. If the owner refuses to share their name, take a photo of the shop and share it in a WhatsApp group. After that, cease all business with that shop.
3. Avoid travelling in auto rickshaws operated by minorities and refrain from renting out homes to them.
What is the incident about?
Following the stone pelting incident at an RSS branch, a case was registered. Four minors were taken into custody and according to the police, they were influenced by Rizwan Sayyad, who has since been arrested.
Editorial PerspectivePlease note that due to growing concerns over minorities’ arrogance, Hindus are considering economic measures like financial boycotts. If such a movement spreads across Maharashtra, it may not come as a surprise. |
