BJP’s strong Hindutva leader T. Raja Singh questions : “Why Does Aurangzeb’s Tomb Still Exist ?”

BJP MLA T-Raja Singh

Pune – Aurangzeb’s tomb in Maharashtra is like a poisonous sword. Hindus in Maharashtra have been demanding its removal for a long time. Now, Hindus across the country are asking—why does Aurangzeb’s tomb still exist here? My only resolution now is to make India a Hindu Rashtra and to remove Aurangzeb’s tomb from this land, declared T. Raja Singh, a fierce Hindutva BJP MLA from Bhagyanagar (Telangana).

“If Kar Seva is needed for the Tomb, I support it”

Activists from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal have stated—”If the Government is unable to remove Aurangzeb’s tomb, then we will conduct Kar Seva ourselves” (just like the movement that led to the removal of Babri structure at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi). I completely support this, said T. Raja Singh.

“What will be achieved by removing Aurangzeb’s Tomb?”

What exactly is Congress trying to achieve by keeping Aurangzeb’s tomb intact ? They should clarify this first. Why didn’t Congress rename Aurangabad to Sambhajinagar when they were in power? What did they do to honour Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s legacy?

Looking at their history, it is evident that Congress has always engaged in unnecessary appeasement of Aurangzeb. Leaders from VHP and Bajrang Dal have nothing better to do. They don’t want Maharashtra to remain peaceful. They are trying to hinder the state’s progress. (What does Aurangzeb’s tomb have to do with Maharashtra’s progress? – Editor) Aurangzeb ruled here for 27 years, yet he achieved nothing in Maharashtra. What will be achieved by removing his tomb now?  This is the question raised by Congress MLA Vijay Wadettiwar.
