Police raid at beef sale location; 60 kg of meat seized

Savda (Dist. Jalgaon) – Jalgaon Police conducted a raid upon receiving information that beef was being sold in a shed next to a mosque in WaghodaBudruk, Raver Taluka in the District. They apprehended Naeem Sheikh Ayub Qureshi (47 years old) and seized 60 kg of meat worth ₹12,000 from the location. Additionally, weighing scale, a meat-cutting knife, and cash were also confiscated. A case has been registered in this matter.

Assistant Police Inspector Vishal Patil of Savda Police Station has urged the public to report any instances of beef sales to the Police Ptation. He assured that legal action would be taken, and the identity of informants would be kept confidential. (Citizens do report such incidents to the Police, but the question remains – why do the Police not find out these cases on their own ? The Police should remain vigilant, actively track such incidents, and take swift action without waiting for public complaints ! – Editor)
